How long does it take to charge a motorcycle battery with this 12V 2A charger?

A standard 7Ah-9Ah motorcycle battery (Hero Splendor, Bajaj Pulsar, TVS Apache) takes 4-6 hours to fully charge. A 12Ah battery takes 6-8 hours. The LED indicator turns green when charging is complete.

Does this charger work for Honda Activa, Hero Splendor, and Bajaj Pulsar batteries?

Yes. Compatible with all 12V lead-acid batteries including Honda Activa (3Ah-7Ah), Hero Splendor (7Ah-9Ah), Bajaj Pulsar (9Ah-12Ah), TVS Apache, Royal Enfield, and most other Indian two-wheelers.

Can I leave the Samco 12V 2A charger connected to the battery permanently or overnight?

Yes. This is a float/trickle charger. Once the battery reaches full charge (14.4V) the LED turns green and the charger automatically switches to a safe maintenance current. It will not overcharge the battery even if left connected for several days, making it safe for long-term storage of bikes, generators, or backup batteries.

Can this charger be used for UPS and inverter batteries at home?
