How to use the electric bike battery tester
Charge the battery fully
Test only a fully charged battery. A half-charged battery gives a false low reading.
Connect the clamps
Red to positive (+), black to negative (−). Keep contact firm.
Apply the 60A load for 10 seconds
Press and hold the load button for a full 10 seconds without releasing.
Read the voltage while the load is on
Note the reading at the 10-second mark — that is the battery's real health.
Release and let it cool
Release the load and allow about a minute before the next test.
