Product Overview

The SAMCO LOAD PRO 300 inverter battery load tester applies a true 300A fixed load to reveal the real health of 12V deep-cycle lead-acid batteries used in inverter, tubular and solar systems. The same 300A load makes it equally suitable for testing 12V inverter batteries and tall tubular batteries (75–200Ah) used in home and office backup systems.

A 48V pack is only as strong as its weakest 12V battery. Testing each block separately keeps the comparison consistent and means you replace only the battery that has actually failed.

Why a multimeter is not enough: a battery at rest can read 12.6V and look fine while collapsing the moment current is drawn. The 300A load exposes that hidden weakness.

⚠️ Important: never test a full 48V / 60V / 72V pack at once. Remove the links and test each 12V monoblock separately. The same applies to 24V truck and bus systems (2×12V in series).

Choosing the right load for your battery

Rule of thumb: load roughly 3× the battery Ah rating, held for 10 seconds.

The SAMCO LOAD PRO 300's fixed 300A load suits 12V batteries from 75Ah to 200Ah. On smaller batteries a 300A pull is too harsh — choose the 100A or 200A tester instead. Not for lithium (Li-ion / LiFePO₄).

How to use the inverter battery load tester

  1. Charge and rest

Each 12V unit should read about 12.6–12.8V open-circuit before testing.

  2. Separate the blocks

Remove the links so each 12V block stands alone. Never test a full pack at once.

  3. Apply the 300A load for 10 seconds

Keep terminals clean, clamp firmly, and hold LOAD for a full 10 seconds.

  4. Read the voltage while the load is on

Note the reading at the 10-second mark — that is the block's real health.

  5. Cool down

Allow about 60 seconds before moving to the next block.

Temperature note: the pass threshold sits slightly lower in cold weather and slightly higher in hot weather. Compare blocks at the same temperature.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it test a 48V or 60V battery pack?

Only one 12V block at a time. Remove the links and test each 12V battery separately. Never apply the tester across a full 48V, 60V or 72V pack.

Which batteries is this for?

12V deep-cycle lead-acid batteries from 75Ah to 200Ah, used in inverter, tubular and solar systems. Not for lithium or LiFePO₄, and not for two-wheeler batteries under 35Ah.

How long should I apply the load?

Apply the 300A load for 10 seconds, then allow about 60 seconds of cooling before the next block.

How do I read the result?

Read the voltage while the load is still applied, at the 10-second mark. 12.8V down to 10.0V is optimal (healthy), 10.0V down to 9.0V is caution (weak — recharge and retest), and below 9.0V is critical (replace that battery).

What is the price and delivery?

₹5,757 with GST included, dispatched from Delhi with free delivery across India in 3–7 business days. Dealer and bulk discounts available.

Can the SAMCO LOAD PRO 300 test inverter and tubular batteries?

Yes. The SAMCO LOAD PRO 300 is designed for 12V deep-cycle lead-acid batteries from 75Ah to 200Ah, which covers most home and office inverter batteries and tall tubular batteries. Test one 12V battery at a time with the same 300A load for 10 seconds. For tubular or inverter banks below 75Ah, use the 100A or 200A tester instead, since a 300A pull is too harsh for smaller batteries.

Which load tester is best for home inverter batteries in India?

A fixed 300A tester like the SAMCO LOAD PRO 300. Home inverter batteries are typically 100Ah, 150Ah or 200Ah deep-cycle tubular units, and a 300A load matches the 3× Ah rule for a realistic 10-second health check.

Can it test Exide, Luminous and Amaron tubular batteries?

Yes — it works with all brands of 12V deep-cycle lead-acid battery, including Exide, Luminous, Amaron, Okaya and Livguard, in flat-plate, tall tubular and solar types from 75Ah to 200Ah.

Can I test a solar battery bank with it?

Yes, one 12V battery at a time. Disconnect each battery from the bank, test it separately with the 300A load for 10 seconds, and compare readings across the bank to find the weak unit.

Is COD available? What about UPI?

Yes — both Cash on Delivery and UPI are accepted across India. The price is ₹5,757 with GST included and free delivery.
